Three whales swim through deep blue water beneath shafts of sunlight, one of them much smaller than the others. Trails of bubbles drift upwards as they glide past, their long flippers and tails picked out in violet and blue. The water darkens towards the bottom of the picture, giving a calm sense of depth and scale.
