Ashness Bridge
Oil on board · 16″ × 12″
£150
An old stone bridge crosses a rocky beck, with autumn trees, a blue lake and sunlit fells rising beyond. Ashness Bridge in the Lake District is shown on a bright day, with the lane curving away past golden bracken under a blue sky and drifting white clouds. The warm russet trees and cool water make a lovely balance of colour.
An original painting by George Kitching. Sold unframed.
