A cheetah steps carefully down a sloping grey rock, head lowered and eyes fixed ahead, against a bright blue sky. The long diagonal of the rock and the sweep of the ringed tail carry the eye across the picture. Its focused stride and lowered gaze give the scene a quiet sense of purpose, as if the chase is about to begin.
