A waterfall pours between sunlit golden cliffs into a turquoise river, with a small figure seated on the rocks. Spray drifts across the canyon floor while the dark wooded wall on the left falls into shadow, and the tiny figure shows the huge scale of this Yellowstone scene in the United States. It is a bright, clear-skied painting full of warm ochres and cool blues.
